HOW TO READ A RECIPEFollow the diagram left to right, then work the numbered steps. Gold chips jump straight to the live tool. None of this is financial advice — it's a repeatable process for making your own informed decision.
01Vet a token before you touch it
Someone shills a coin. Before you even think about buying, run it through the funnel.
- Instant screen (free). Paste the token address into Rug Check on the home page. If the top-line verdict already screams danger, you're done. Home →
- Deep audit. Take the same token to Baron Samedi for a full behavioral/contract read — honeypot, taxes, ownership, liquidity, holder concentration. Baron →
- Context. Is it part of a live narrative, or a fresh hunt? Cross-check the Narratives heatmap and Snake. Narratives → Snake →
- Decide. Only now form a view — and size it small if you act at all.
RED FLAGS = STOPHoneypot, un-renounced ownership with mint power, >5–10% in one wallet, or locked/again-unlockable liquidity are walk-away signals no upside justifies.
02Run your first paper trade (zero risk)
Practice the whole loop with fake money before a single real dollar is involved.
- Open the Desk. Go to the Chart & Paper Desk, search the coin, and read the chart. Chart & Desk →
- Place a paper ticket. Enter a size and hit buy — it's simulated, nothing real is spent.
- Watch the blotter. Your open position and P&L update live. Close it when your plan says so.
- Compare with MAZAKA. See how the house paper-trader is playing the cycle and what it's learning. MAZAKA →
THE POINTPaper trading builds the habit — entry, size, exit — without tuition paid to the market. Do 10 before you ever risk real money.
03Arm a thesis — and let it watch your reason
The mistake isn't being wrong; it's holding after your reason broke. Brigitte guards that.
- Write why you're in. In Brigitte, state your thesis in a sentence — the actual reason you bought. Brigitte →
- Let the Vigil watch. It tracks whether that reason still holds — not just the price flashing red.
- Set your exits. Arm a trailing stop and a take-profit ladder so the plan runs even when you're away.
- If it's a loss, walk the Passage. A calm, four-gate loss-interceptor that helps you exit on purpose instead of panic. Open the Passage →
WHY IT WORKSPre-committing your exit and your reason turns a live, emotional decision into a rule you already agreed to when you were calm.
04Find what's moving — safely
From "the whole market" down to a short, vetted shortlist.
- See the rotation. Open the Narratives heatmap to spot where attention and capital are flowing. Narratives →
- Get candidates. Check the vetted Picks board for names inside those themes. Picks →
- Gate on safety. Run each candidate through Baron before it earns a spot. Baron →
- Shortlist, don't FOMO. Park survivors on a watchlist and paper-trade them first (Recipe 02).
05Gut-check a trade with Gede before you buy
A 30-second sanity pass that catches the mistakes you keep repeating.
- Describe the trade in plain words. "Buying X because Y, risking Z." Gede →
- Read the honest review. Gede flags over-sizing, chasing, thesis-free entries, and revenge trades — before you act.
- Let the Ledger learn you. Over time it surfaces your recurring patterns so you can break them.
