1What Snake is
Snake is an always-on hunter for small, new crypto projects across four venues — Solana, Base, Virtuals (AI agents), and Robinhood Chain.
It does not chase whatever is pumping. It optimizes for what is real and surviving: it runs every candidate through a strict gauntlet of quality gates, then ranks the survivors by asymmetry (upside vs. risk) and shows you the receipts behind every call. It refreshes on its own around the clock, and it is free.
2The five gates every pick clears
Before anything is shown to you, it must pass all five in order. Anything that fails is rejected to the Graveyard with the reason attached.
| Gate | What it checks |
|---|---|
| 1 · Safety | Not a honeypot, mint-trap, or owner-controlled rug. On Solana, Snake proves you can actually sell (see "exit-verified"). |
| 2 · Executable liquidity | Enough real liquidity to get in and out — and liquidity that's a healthy share of market cap, not a thin trap. |
| 3 · Organic, not manufactured | Real independent wallets buying — not wash trading or a bundle of sock-puppet wallets faking activity. |
| 4 · Traction | Trading in a healthy band — alive, but not the frantic churn that marks a pump-and-dump. |
| 5 · Survival | Old enough to have survived the day-zero rug window, young enough to still be early. |
3Reading a pick — tiers & scores
Every pick sits in one of three tiers and carries two scores.
| Tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| CONVICTION | The cleanest, most asymmetric picks. Passed every gate, security is verified, and nothing is breaking down. The top shelf. |
| STARTER | Passes the gates but isn't yet proven — or its security couldn't be fully verified. Promising, not certain. |
| WATCH | On the radar. Clears the bar but thin conviction — keep an eye on it. |
Trust (0–100) answers "is this real and safe?" — built from liquidity depth, organic buyers, traction, age, and persistence across scans. Asymmetry (0–100) answers "how convex is the bet?" — Trust weighted by how much room a small cap has to run. The board is sorted by Asymmetry.
4The badges — your at-a-glance legend
Badges are the fast read. Green/gold tags are tailwinds; red tags are cautions.
| Badge | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| ✅ EXIT-VERIFIED | (Solana) Snake ran a real sell simulation — it proved you can route the token back out to SOL, and shows the round-trip cost. The strongest safety signal where automated checks are weak. |
| ⚠ SECURITY UNVERIFIED | Snake couldn't fully vouch for safety on this venue — the pick is capped below Conviction. Do extra homework. |
| 🔥 CROSSROADS / CARRIER | The pick sits in a market narrative that Legba's rotation engine shows igniting right now — the right name at the right time. A timing tailwind, not a safety guarantee. |
| 🧠 SMART | Wallets with a proven track record of being early to Snake-quality winners are accumulating this. Shows how many, and how many past winners the best one caught. Snake's crown-jewel signal. |
| 🚨 EXIT | The inverse of SMART: proven-winner wallets are distributing (selling) this. A real caution — someone who's been right before is taking the other side. |
| 🛑 BREAKING DOWN | A pick that was healthy is now turning — liquidity draining, deep drawdown, or smart money exiting. High danger strips its Conviction. |
5The Cohort — who is actually trading it
Under each pick, the cohort strip reads the actual wallet-level trade tape — something simple buy-counts can't see.
| Flag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ACCUMULATING | Real, distinct wallets are net-buying — more money flowing in than out. A healthy sign. |
| DISTRIBUTING | Wallets are net-selling into the price — a timing headwind. Strips Conviction. |
| BALANCED | Roughly even buying and selling — no strong wallet-level lean right now. |
The strip also shows buy pressure (share of dollar volume that's buys), the number of distinct wallets, and warnings when one wallet dominates the buys (fragile) or when same-block wallet clusters hint at bundling. A launch that's clearly bundled (many sock-puppets buying identical sizes in one block) is rejected outright.
6The Smart-Wallet reputation graph
This is what makes Snake unlike anything you can buy off the shelf. Instead of reselling someone else's "smart money" list, Snake builds its own — from its own gated winners.
Every cycle it records the wallets accumulating each pick. As those picks play out, Snake grades them forward: when one becomes a real winner (up strongly, and it held), the wallets that were early to it earn reputation. A wallet has to be early to two or more Snake-quality winners before it's ever called "proven" — which kills luck. Then, when those proven wallets show up buying a fresh pick, you get the 🧠 SMART badge, and you can click through to the wallets themselves to verify.
7The Track Record — Snake grades itself
Most tools only show you their wins. Snake publishes its whole scorecard, updated as its own past picks play out.
| Stat | What it means |
|---|---|
| Hit +50% / +100% | The share of graded picks whose peak move (while Snake tracked it) reached +50% or +100%. |
| Median peak | The typical best move a pick offered. This flatters — nobody sells the exact top — so it's shown next to… |
| Median held-to-now | …the honest number: the typical return if you simply held to now. Opportunity vs. reality, side by side. |
| Rug rate | The share of graded picks that later died. The misses, shown on purpose. |
The most important line is signal attribution: it grades picks split by which signal fired — so you can see, in Snake's own numbers, whether SMART-cohort picks actually outperformed plain ones. It proves (or disproves) the whole system on live data, and it needs real calendar time to fill in.
8Per-pick performance & the Graveyard
Each card also carries its own forward record.
"Since first flagged +X%, peak +Y%." A brand-new pick reads "just flagged this cycle — tracking from here," then updates every cycle. Nothing is hidden after the fact. The Graveyard is the honest other half of the board: every token Snake rejected this cycle and exactly why ("honeypot," "bundle-launched," "thin liquidity," "cannot sell," and so on). It's proof the filter is doing its job.
9Signal alerts & the engine tier
Paid members can arm email alerts and be notified the instant a pick crosses a signal — no need to watch the page.
Pick any of: SMART (proven wallets started accumulating), CONVICTION (reached the top tier), CROSSROADS (entered an igniting narrative), or EXIT / DANGER (proven wallets selling, or a pick breaking down — the protective alerts). Alerts fire once per signal (no spam), and only on a genuine new crossing.
At the bottom you'll see engine: FULL / REDUCED / LEAN. Snake runs an automatic cost governor that keeps its always-on hunting within budget — dialing the deep wallet analysis up when healthy and easing off if a cycle runs slow, then restoring on its own. The core hunt (safety, exit-proof, gates, timing) always runs; only the extra enrichment flexes. You never have to think about it.
10How to actually use Snake — in five steps
- Start at the top. Conviction picks first. They've cleared every gate and nothing's breaking down.
- Confirm you can exit. On Solana, look for EXIT-VERIFIED. If it says SECURITY UNVERIFIED, do extra homework and size smaller.
- Hunt the combos. The strongest setups stack tailwinds: a clean pick that's ACCUMULATING, wears the SMART badge, and sits at a CROSSROADS is the rare "right name, right time, right money" trifecta.
- Verify the contract — always. Copy the address and confirm it on the explorer before you ever act. This step is non-negotiable.
- Mind the red. EXIT and BREAKING DOWN are your friends — they tell you when to be careful. Arm the alerts so you hear about them first.
