10.1The Academy — your guided Path
The Academy at /academy is a learning Path: numbered classes laid out in order, from the very first idea all the way to advanced strategy. You climb it one step at a time — no jumping ahead, no getting lost.
It is also smart. The Path doesn't show every learner the same wall of classes. It quietly rearranges itself to fit what's happening right now:
- For the market — it surfaces classes that match the current market regime. If the market just turned risk-off, a lesson on risk and position sizing floats to the top.
- For your pattern — if you use Gede (the conscience), the Academy reads your own trades from the Ledger and adds a "For Your Pattern" section — classes aimed at the habits it sees in you.
- For Your Pattern — a strip of classes chosen from your own Ledger habits and the current regime.
- FREE tag — three classes are open to everyone, forever (green tag).
- 🔒 Member class — everything else. The lock means you'll see the opening free, then a join gate.
- Preview modal — click any card to peek: title, illustration, summary, and key takeaways.
- Open full class — the gold button in the preview takes you into the lesson page itself.
What's free, and what's for members
Click any lesson card and a reader preview pops up first — the class title, an illustration, a short summary, and the key takeaways — with a button to open the full class. This lets you look before you leap.

10.2Inside a lesson — how a class page works
Open a class — we'll use /lessons/basics as the example — and you land on a full reading page built to teach, not to overwhelm. Everything on it does one of two things: help you read, or help you listen.
What you'll find on the page, top to bottom: a reading-progress bar that fills as you scroll; an animated hero up top; a learn strip of chip-shaped topics; numbered sections — each with a "Going deeper" block that explains a Harvard-depth idea as if you were ten; animated diagrams; and, pinned to the bottom of the screen, the narration player where Elena reads it all to you.
- Reading-progress bar — the thin gold line at the very top fills as you scroll down the class.
- Learn strip — chip-shaped topic tags near the top; a quick map of what this class covers.
- Going deeper — tap to unfold a deeper explanation of the idea, still in plain words.
- ▶ Play button — starts Elena reading the current section aloud.
- Seek bar & time — click anywhere on the bar to jump; the time display shows where you are.
- Speed button — tap to cycle 1× → 1.25× → 1.5× → 0.85×, then back to 1×.
Listening with Elena, step by step
- Open a class from the Academy Path or the Education Hub.
- Press ▶ to hear Elena. She reads the current section aloud in a clear, calm voice.
- Read along. Follow the text as she speaks — the two are matched.
- Scroll as you go. The progress bar at the top tracks how far through the class you are.
- Adjust the speed if you like. Tap the speed button to go faster (1.25× / 1.5×) or slower (0.85×).
When a section finishes, Elena pauses for a short breath, then auto-advances to the next one — so you can lean back and just listen if you prefer.
10.3The flagship — "Options Trading for the Crypto Markets"
The crown of the Academy is the mastery class at /lessons/options-crypto. It takes you from zero to actually trading crypto options — the single deepest class on the site.
It runs 14 narrated sections, in order: what an option even is, the Greeks, how volatility works, every strategy grouped by your market view (bullish, bearish, sideways), and the exact entries, exits, and risk for each — all with worked examples you can follow number by number.
- Check your understanding — each part ends with "check your understanding" Q&A accordions. Read the question, think, then tap to reveal the answer.
- Where to find it — in the Academy Path under the Adept tier, or via the Education Hub → Options & Leverage tab.
10.4The Education Hub — tabbed library with quizzes
The second door is the Education Hub at /education. Where the Academy is a path you walk, the Hub is a reference library you dip into — topics arranged in tabs, each with quizzes to test yourself.
The tabs are: Foundations, Market Structure, Risk, Advanced, and Terminology. Each holds plain-language explainers, a quiz or two, and deep-dive links straight into the matching full Academy class.

- Quiz answers — pick the answer you think is right by tapping it.
- Reveal — click Reveal to check whether you got it. No score pressure; it's for you.
- Terminology search — type any crypto word to jump straight to its plain-English meaning.
- 🔒 Locked card — member-only content shows a lock and a "Become a Member" gate.
- Progress bar — tracks how much of the Hub you've worked through.
Free accounts get the foundational tabs in full. Tabs that hold member material show a "Become a Member" gate instead, and any locked card carries a 🔒 badge so you always know what's behind the paywall before you tap it.
10.5Where to start
If you're brand new, don't scatter. There's a clean on-ramp built from the three free classes.
- Take Basics of Crypto — the words and the big ideas, so nothing later sounds like a foreign language.
- Then Wallets & Self-Custody — how to actually hold coins safely, in your own hands.
- Then DEX vs CEX — where and how coins are bought and sold, and the trade-offs of each.
- Now paper-trade for a week — practice with pretend money and real prices before anything else. Only then reach for the deeper classes.
